I would like to thank all my friends for putting such a great effort in my birthday. It was a pleasant surprise and I can't really describe how fortunate I felt that very Sunday. ☺P.S. ~~I'll elaborate more on my birthday during the weekends alright?~~ Got to start working on my assignments now! Sigh sigh sigh!

Ah. Here comes the update on my Sweet 16th birthday. That very Sunday was a fun-filled & memorable one. My clique bluffed me into heading over to E2max for a 'study date'. Yes, I should have guessed from the name itself that it should be one where we play games or watch movies. But I foolishly took their words for real and brought along all my necessary books along to revise. ^o^ Don't laugh at me! Next, J was leading me all the way into the room (a really pleasant place) and the choking smell of smoke filled my nostrils. Her actions and the surroundings were little suspicious at that point of time. However, what happened next would definitely be etched in my heart, forever.

I saw S with a party hat, in one of the rooms and was trying to figure out what was happening, when the clique burst out singing a birthday song for me. My feelings were mixed between blissfulness and being grateful & fortunate to have them as my friends.

The cake that they had baked and iced themselves was really delicious, although the humble K refused to believe that it was great. We watched a comedy on babies thereafter (I forgot the name of it) and laughed quite a bit. We also filled our stomachs with Bee-Hoon, Fishballs, etc which was prepared by my dear J.

We ended the day opening my presents and I can't thank them enough for all that they have done for me. To the 5 of you, please know that I'll love you forever.

It hurts to know how sentences that people say may contain some form of falseness in it. Why do they contradict their words? I had always believed the smiles plastered over people's faces were true and that if you treated someone with sincerity, they would never risk the chance to hurt you. However, the truth spoke otherwise and I realised things are never as simple as it seems. Nonetheless, I suppose I would continue in my stupid believe that every single person is kind at heart. Good bye, lovelies.

They mean the world to me.

Despite our busy schedule, we had been meeting up for dinner, card games and study dates. And every single day spent together is a day well-spent. We laugh at almost everything there is and I love every single one of them, so much. ♥

Where would we go after we pass on?

Oh, this random thought came across my mind today while I was on my way home. Where would we go after we pass on? Do our souls linger around earth just that people can't see us? Or would we just disappear into thin air? I wish we didn't vanish just like that. Ah, and what if I passed on? How would my friends and family react? Would anyone care? Doesn't this set you thinking too? It's terrifying to know that I might just die the very next minute, with unspoken last words and life filled with regrets! ☹ But then again, I would very much like to witness my funeral. This would probably set me pondering the whole night now!

Today is the first day of lessons after 2 weeks of break and I can immediately feel the level of stress that we're going to work with. But I guess we can all do this, can't we? ☺ Supposedly, I'm to revise for my upcoming SS test on thursday. I've only completed 2/11 essays so far and it's already killing me. My eyes are getting heavier and heavier and the seconds ticked past. I guess I can only leave for tomorrow, and the next. I've to stop procrastinating. ☹

Slow down your pace in life.

We're all trying so hard to keep up with the pace of life, and with the help of technology, everything seems to whiz pass more quickly than before. Ah, how many of us check our hand phones for updates of our friends' once we get up? I would confess to that! ☺ I think we should try slowing down our run in life, shouldn't we? At least, stop, listen, feel and appreciate. Taste the food in your mouth rather than gobble it down in 5 minutes. Look outside the windows of the moving vehicle for beautiful scenes instead of napping. Take the time off to go for a swim, a game, or a simple walk. Cropping up at home and glaring at nothing but the computer would do us no good! Look at the stars in the night, notice the clouds in the sky, breathe the fresh air that surrounds you. I should do these too, someday. ☺

On the other hand, school is starting in less than a day and honestly, I'm not even the least prepared to go out and face it. My assignments are undone and nothing is fresh in my head. O' well, I shall just take it as it goes. Tata!

A little update! Had our first official clique outing on a thursday after school. I had a great time with the girls despite some minor slips. We caught X-men instead of the Ladda Land because of some misunderstanding @ the ticket counter. It was overall a very good movie! Go catch it if you haven't already done so! Dinner @ Pasta Mania and that pretty much sums up our outing! I can't wait for the next!

I sat in front of the computer for nearly an hour, trying to put my feelings into words. Obviously I failed because nothing came out. Nothing. Every single day I wake up feeling more lethargic than when I went to bed. There is no particular reason as to why I've this feeling of bitterness looming around me, and it sucks to not know what is happening.

Went out with the girls today and we had a great time laughing. ♡

I'm tired. You're tired. Why is it I just can't do this? Is it purely because I'm too selfish to let you go, that I've gotten used to have you in my life? Or because I didn't want to see you sad? I knew something was going to happen right when my phone crashed. Instinct. And it did. Why? I didn't want to blow things up and it wasn't even supposed to matter. It's just, pointless. & I'm sorry if I hurt you, physically and mentally.

I wished I lived in a fairy tale, where there was something called the happily-ever-after.

So you eventually have to face what you don't want to, accept what you don't wish to and get on moving with your life. I had gotten back some of my results today and I've to admit that they were unsastisfactory. No use crying over a spilled milk anyway, but I still did. But I promise to try my very best to strive for my prelims and O's.

I'm currently reading "The Haunted" and I know it's going to be an awesome book! ☺

Fuck yeah! Mid-Year is finally over. I can't express how relieved and relaxed I'm right now. However it would only be my wishful part of thinking that this feeling would last because obviously it wouldn't. To relax and have fun are the priority now, aren't they? *-*
